In ancient nordic culture it was common practice for men and women to sit in private council with a seer or an elder. In this sacred council everything would be discussed and dissected to get to the root of any suffering and uncertainty. Even positive aspects of life will be discussed if that is where the energy takes it. Its an oppurtunity to leave the ego at the door and be completely honest and vulnerable.
